Scientists have recently reported that the sea ice that makes up the arctic has reached it's third lowest level this summer. Reports say that there was less sea ice noted in the summers of 2007 and 2008. Greenhouse gas are the main problem for the shrinking ice. The greenhouse gas are make the global temperatures raise making the ice melt. With this knowledge scientists say there may be a summer where be no sea ice in the Arctic Ocean.
